Tour report by Tokyo City Tour

I had a Nagano tour with English guest.
We droved to Nagano via Chuo-express high way.
Nagano is very famous area for Skiing and Hot spring,
and had Olympic game in 1998.
This time, we have visited south part of Nagano prefecture.

This is a Hot spring bath only for foots. Amazing...
The benefit of Hot spring are mustle aching, skin disease etc....
There are many good Ryokan with hot spring around Lake Suwa.

We found an antique shop near the lake and take a peep at shop.
This was my favorite one.


We went to a Suwa taisha -shrine- , it was fantastic atmosphere.
There is a big feast once a 7 years, it is called Onbashira.
During the feast, a many people try to erect a large log to respect a God.

Tokyo wonder tour
Entrance of Kabuki-za near Ginza

it was thanks givingday, I have a chance to go kabuki show.
We bought a ticket at entrance that was 1,200 yens.
Kabuki is one of Japan's traditional theater from,
All female Kabuki came to be outlawed as corrupting public moral.
After that, Kabuki performance came to be enacted by male only.
we rented guiding system that explained about story.
It was very exciting and unique times.

We went to good Japanese restaurant before we go back to Hotel.


Kaisekiryori- elegant ceremonial-type Japanese food.
Kaieki refers to a heated storn that a Zen priest holds to warm the chest.
The meal is served in several small courses.
This is delicious with Sake,
but I couldnt drink a Sake, because I had to drive.
It was pity, But our guest enjoyed Kaisekiryori.

Sumo tour by Tokyo city tour
Entrance of Sumo stable.-sumo-beya

I went to sumo stable to see a training of sumo wrestler,
They are training very hard for matches.
Sumo is national sport with a long tradition,
and people from every walk of life enjoy it.
Matches by professional sumo wrestlers are called o-zumo.


The wrestlers always belong to a Sumo stable and
they practice daily under Oyakaya whois the stable master.
Sumo stable form a solid virtical relationship
between master and disciple.
Lowest on the ranking list are assigned to serve those higher up,
doing such as preparing the Special dish that is called Chanko-nabe.


A topknot, wrestler belt...


Since the 1960's, oversea tours of professional sumo tournaments
have occurred and have become so populer.
In addition, the accomplishments of foreign wrestler recently have
attracted attention.
YOkozuna-grand chanpion- and Ozeki-second highest rank
are foreign westlers.

muy bonito.especialmente, cerca de palacio imperial.


los clientes queria ir Pachinko.
fuimos a Pachinko-shop para fugar.
Pachinko es juego para adultos.a veces, gana 100 dollares,
a veces, pierde muchas dinero.

generalmente, pierde, pero alguna persona siemple gana,
vive con Pacinko como trabajo.
yo no se como siemple gana.pero hay machas libro de
Pachinko como gara.

Sake tour by Tokyo city tour

I went to a Sake brewery with our guest.

This is entrance of Sake brewery and Shop curtains hung on.

Sake- rice wine- brewed with rice and water.
With the alcohol concentration at around 15 %.

We drunk a cold Sake or hot sake.


These are traditional wooden glass.


Sake barrel.

We tried drinking a various type, my favorite one was dry.

We bought a bottle of Sake that cost about 2,000 yen.

Kamakura tour by tokyo city tour

I had opportunity to visit a Kamakura with my guest.
It was fine and clear day that was season we could see autumn foliage.


Torii of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu- placed at the entrance
to indicate a sacred zone.



We saw a many cool kids, it is a season of 7-5-3.
A parents take their sons and daughters in exquisite
kimono or suits to shrines to pray for thier health and growth.


Kids tred to get written oracle- read his future-
How was that? good fortune? bad fortune?


One of our guest wanted to buy bottle of Sake, we go to Sake shop/
un... this shop is antique style and traditional, we bought a
bollte of Sake that have produced at Kamakura area.

Kotokuin- large buddha

He is sleeping, because Large Buddha take a shoes for walk
around in Kamakura town to take a beer.
He back to Kotokuin before temple open.




We went to sankei-en before we go back to Tokyo.
it was beautiful sunset, we were so lucky!-Mt Fuji- somebody shouted.
