Nara tour from Kyoto 1

Entrance of Kyoto station

If you would like to visit a Nara from Kyoto, you can take JR Nara line or private Kintetsu line.
Kintetsu Nara station is better located station than JR Nara station.The train runs to Nara twice an hour and run to Nara in 35 minutes. You will have to change the train at Yamato Saidaiji sometime, plz check the time table.

This is express train to Nara. the train fee will cost about 1,000 yen.

If you have JR pass, You can use JR Miyakoji Kaisoku that runs from Kyoto to Nara.

When you arraive at Nara station, you can walk to Todaiji temple, about 2,5 Km from Kintetsu Nara station.
There are many dear on the way.

Narita airport is located in Chiba prefecure, travling time from Tokyo is about 1,5 hours by car and 1hour by train.
But If you have many luggage, I dont recommend you to use train, because there are many steps and very difficult to find out, when you arrive at Ueno or Tokyo station.

I think this is fastes train in the world, it is called linea moter car.
According o the record, maximam velocity wsa 581KM.
This linear moter car will be put to practical use.

Kyoto tour by bulet train.
Bullet train - Shinkansen - is super-express trains that can travle at more than 200KM per hour.
Shinkansen tickets can be purchased at MIDORINO MADOGUCHI intrain station.

I have a chance to go to Kyoto with my guest.
There are many platform in Tokyo station, very complecated.

Bullet train platform = Shinkansen platform.


Bullet train = Shinkansen, I think this is new one.


Shinkansen beer = bullet train beer.
This beer is sold only in bullet train or Kiosuku.

Do not forget to take a Japanese Lunch box.You can buy it in side or Kiosuku.


So, traveling time to Kyoto is about 2,5 hours from Tokyo station.
Lets take a nap, but do not miss the Kyoto station.
