Welcome to Tokyo ! You will be greeted by an English-speaking assistant at the airport.
Transfer to your hotel with shuttle bus for check in. Dinner under own pax payment.

Accommodation Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka (Free Wi-Fi) or similar
The hotel is located on the Uemachi plateau, a cradle of the history and culture of Osaka and is directly connected to Kintetsu Osaka-Uehonmachi station, which is a key point of transportation.
Approx 50 minutes from the entrance of the hotel's 1st floor to Kansai international airport by airport limousine bus, and 30 minutes from Kintetsu bus center directly connected to the second floor of the hotel to Osaka (ITAMI) domestic airport. Also Directly connected to the station, this hotel is very convenient for both buisiness and sightseeing.

DAY 2
OSAKA-Mt.KOYAApr.04(Thu) / Apr.18(Thu)

Osaka was the commercial center in the samurai period, developed around invincible Osaka Castle., which is a famous landmark, a popular sightseeing spot, and the symbol of Osaka, contains thirteen structures which have been designated as Important Cultural Assets by the Japanese government.
The top of this 7 story building commands great views of the city of Osaka, the castle being surrounded by the walls of huge stones and moats.

Our tour continues to the sacred training spot of Buddhist monks at Koyasan mountains. 117 temples are located 1,000m (about 3,000ft) above sea level and Koyasan is designated as World Heirtage site of UNESCO.
The legendary monk Kobodaishi is one of the most historical religious figures. The mausoleum of Kobodaishi, Okunoin and lined up tall cedar trees approach to the mausoleum makes the area sacred atmosphere.

We can’t miss Danjo garan. Konpon Daito(Great Pagoda) is planned by Kobo Daishi,as a center of his monastic camplex.Canstruction began in 816,and was nearly completed some seventy years later.The design is a three-dimensional expression of the mandalas of Shingon Buddhism.Images of the eight patriaechs of Shingon Buddhism are also painted in the corners of the structure.
We proceed to Kongobuji. Kongobuji is the administrative head temple of Koyasan Shingon Buddhism.

We stay in Syukubo (temple lodging) tonight. Shukubo is originally the lodgings for the Buddhist monks and pilgrims from 1,200 years ago. Currently, many Shukubo places where tourists can stay have appeared turning them into tourist destinations with a on the temple. When dining at Shukubo, vegetarian food (Shojin Ryori) that does not contain any meat or fish is common. However, it’s never anything insubstantial and there are many Shukubo facilities that boasts a high-quality, varied selection of foods like a Japanese ryokan. You can experience the fresh, good flavor of natural vegetable that you wouldn’t normally get in your everyday diet.

After dinner we prepare night walking tour of Okunoin with monks. Monks who have license to guide in English take you an enjoyable tour. We had already visited to there daytime, but night tour will become a pleasant memory. Monk talk about history of Mt.Koya, daily life of monks, If we are lucky, we can see some flying squirrels, big frogs and fireflies.

DAY 3
Mt.KOYA-TOKUSHIMA-TAKAMATSUApr.05(Fri) / Apr.19(Fri)

After leaving Mt.Koya, we get on a ferry for 2 hours to Shikoku island. Shikoku is the smallest and least populous of the four main islands of Japan and is known as the birthplace of revered Buddhist ascetic Kobo Daishi, which is synonymous with natural beauty and the pursuit of spiritual perfection. After arriving Tokushima port, our tour continues to Takamatsu after lunch.

Takamatus is in Kagawa prefecture, is known as Sanuki. Kagawa is the smallest of Sjolpli's four regions, and the smallest of the country's 47 prefectures. At Takamatsu we visit Ritsurin Park, one of the most beautiful gardens in the country, Ritsurin park dates from the mid-1600s and took more than a century to complete. Designed as a walking garden for the Daimyo's enjoyment, the park winds around a series of ponds, tearooms, bridges and islands. It takes your breath away with picturesque scene of ponds, small bridges and tea house.

People in Takamatsu are serious about their udon, and no trip here would be complete without at least one bowl of the famous specialty, Sanuki udon. So our dinner is Udon. Enjoy authentic Sanuki Udon!!

DAY 4
TAKAMATSU-MIYAJIMA-HIROSHIMAApr.06(Sat) / Apr.20(Sat)

In the morning we proceed to Hiroshima with 3 hours drive. The first visit in Hiroshima, is Miyajima, which is known as one of the most beautiful scenic torii gate in Japan. The small island of Miyajima is a Unesco World Heritage Site and one of Japan's most visited tourist spots. Its star attraction is the oft-photographed vermilion torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine, shich seems to float on the waves at high tide-a seane that has traditionally been ranked as one of the three best views in Japan.

Then we proceed to Hiroshima city. Japan is the only country which has suffered A-bomb disaster. The first A-bomb was dropped on Hiroshima at 8:15 on August 6, 1945. It would be precious experience to visit Peace Memorial Park and Museum as well as A-bomb Dome that is designated as World Heritage of UNESCO. Although you don’t see the aftermath of the disaster in Hiroshima today, the museum tells you all about what happened.

We prepare local dinner Okonomiyaki, (savory pancake with various ingredients) tonight. Okonomiyaki is like Japanese pizza. It’s flat and round. Okonomiyaki is a dish of thinly sliced cabbage mixed with batter made of flour, eggs and water and cooked on an iron griddle. It is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

It is located in Moto-Ujina Park on Hiroshima Bay, surrounded by Setonaikai National Park, being 15 minutes away by car from the center of Hiroshima.

DAY 5
HIROSHIMA-IWAMI-IZUMO-MATSUEApr.07(Sun) / Apr.21(Sun)

We proceed to Iwami Ginzan (silver mine), located in Shimane prefecture, is the wellpreserved remains of a silver mine that dates back to the 16th century. Its large production of high quality silver, as much as 38 tons annually at its peak, contributed significantly to commercial and cultural exchanges between Japan and the trading countries in East Asia and Europe. It was registered as UNESCO World Heritage site in 2007. We visit Iwami Ginzan World Heritage Center that exhibit the history of silver mine and its mining technology and in the mine. It remains more than 600 tunnels in the Iwami area. We walk into the one of them.

Please be advised;
1.Due to weather forecasts, umbrellas and rain coats shoule be with you at all times.
2.Due to the hiking course, appropriate inclosed shoes and long pants should be warm at all times.
3.There are cases in which cancellations are made due to rain, strong wind and fog.
4.This tour includes 2 hours of walking on sightseeing. Tour participants are expected to be of moderate fitness, keep up with the pace of the group, and can climb stairs with no difficulty.
5.When it rains, the hiking course can be very slippery, so that the tour will be cancelled.

After walking, we proceed to Izumo Taisha Shrine in Izumo. Izumo Taisha is one of Japan's most important shrines and is considered to be the oldest. The main deity enshrined at Izumo Taisha is Okuninushi-no-okami. According to the creation myths, Okuninushi was the creator of the land of Japan. The origin of shrine is unknown, but it is thought that there is the history more than at least 1,500 years, and it is believed that the oldest shrine is Izumo Taisha.

We head to Matsue and stay tonight.

DAY 6
MATSUE-HIMEJI-OSAKAApr.08(Mon) / Apr.22(Mon)

Today, we start to visit ADACHI MUSEUM OF ART, which is located in east of Matuse, founded by local businessman and art collector Adachi Zenko. The collection includes over 100 paintings by Yokoyama Taikan and a good selection works by other major 20th century Japanese painters. But for many the real attraction is the stunning gardens, regularly voted among the best in Japan. Sit and contemplate the perfectly clipped mounds of the Dry Landscape Garden in the distance, mountains rise up as through part of the garden itself.

We head to Himeji by chartered coach. After all the popular sightseeing spot of Himeji is Himeji castle.

Himeji Castle, known as “White Herron Castle” for its striking resemblance to a snowy egret taking flight, is an exquisite fortress complex which was registered as the first World Heritage site in Japan. The castle is regarded as the finest surviving example of prototypical Japanese castle architecture, comprising a network of 83 buildings with advanced defensive systems from the feudal period. The area within the middle moat of the castle complex is a designated Special Historic Site and five structures of the castle are also designated National Treasures.

We proceed to Osaka, the final destination of our itinerary.

I would recommend this tour to any family.
The best places : Golden pavillion, Kyoto
The best experience: Seeing my daughter feed the deer in Nara park.
There was a mix of high culture like shrines and museums , but also pop culture like Akihabara and Harajuku.
I would recommend this tour to any family. My daughter is very sad because it is ending .
